Creative pursuits in my studio have taken a back seat whilst I create in the kitchen in readiness for family time this Christmas. Christmas Mince Pies are always on the menu.
Traditional Mince Pies, eaten at Christmas time. The filling is a mixture of minced fruit... currants, sultanas and raisins, spices, and a touch of brandy. The pie pastry is sweet short. I usually make about 6 dozen!
